Blog #2: Couros’ Innovator’s Mindset Comes to Life

Well, I just completed my first-ever screen cast… Ironically, the screen cast largely focused on Couros’ Innovator’s Mindset. What does this reveal about me as a learner? Great question. Hearkening back to my prior post, I’ve taken the road less traveled (at least for me)… the road that caused productive struggle. While I don’t have a high propensity for digital learning or leadership, I’ll now admit I’m a work in progress. After having completed a screen cast–a real life demonstration of growth/innovator’s mindset–I recognize the usefulness of this innovative technology and its application in my professional life. Screen casting can be useful to replace unnecessary (or unlikely) face-to-face meetings, while still protecting the integrity of the information.
